When you submit a booking request, we may collect your full name, email address, telephone number, selected apartment, stay dates, number of guests, payment method and any additional information you choose to provide.
If you request an invoice, we also process the relevant billing information.
We use your information to process and manage bookings, communicate with guests, issue confirmations and cancellation notices, handle payments and invoices, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
The legal bases may include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and, where applicable, legitimate interests relating to system security and legal claims.
We use Google services, including Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Gmail, to support booking administration and communication.
Public availability calendars show occupied periods without displaying guests’ names or contact details.
Personal data may be processed by technical service providers subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards, including safeguards for international transfers where relevant.
Stara Zagora Stays uses or may use Google Analytics 4, a Google service that helps us understand website traffic and visitor interactions.
Where consent for analytics cookies has been provided, information may be processed about pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, traffic sources and interactions with the website.
We use this information to improve the website's content, navigation and booking experience.
Analytics cookies are not essential for using the website. Visitors may decline their use through the available cookie consent mechanism.
We do not knowingly send guests' names, telephone numbers, email addresses or payment details to Google Analytics as analytics events.
More information about Google's processing of personal information is available in Google's privacy documentation.
Personal information is retained for as long as necessary to manage bookings, comply with applicable accounting and tax obligations, resolve disputes and establish or defend legal claims.
Completed booking records may be transferred to a secure archive. Archiving does not necessarily mean immediate deletion.
Stara Zagora Stays does not currently send automated marketing communications.
If we introduce special offers, discounts or newsletters by email in the future, guests will be able to subscribe through separate, optional consent. Declining marketing communications will not affect their ability to make a booking.
Withdrawing consent and unsubscribing
Once marketing communications are introduced, every marketing email will include an “Unsubscribe” link allowing recipients to stop receiving marketing messages easily and free of charge.
Consent may also be withdrawn by emailing starazagorastays.booking@gmail.com.
After unsubscribing, the email address will no longer be used for future marketing communications. We may retain minimal information about the opt-out to ensure that the request is respected.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not stop essential service messages relating to existing bookings, payments or cancellations.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing where the relevant right applies.
Please contact starazagorastays.booking@gmail.com to exercise your rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection at www.cpdp.bg.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies or legal requirements. The current version will be made available on this website.
